It is a non-governmental organiZation, founded in 1988.

The Wildlife Natural Centre’s mission is twofold: managing and protecting the natural site, and promoting it by welcoming the public. Its work is built around five-year management plans, which include the site’s ecological (management) and educational (events) plan for the site.

Opening time

The welcome centre features an information and exibition area on the natural heritage along the Rhône : aquariums, pemanent and temporary exibitions, and more.

>The wildlife natural centre is open (free entry) :

- During local school vacations (zone A)

from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm and every sundays to 2pm to 6pm


- Period outside school holidays

Sundays from 2pm to 6pm

>The natural area is free access, all days.

The trail and hides are open all year round. Groups of more then 10 people should inform the Observation Centre of their visit, even if they don't want to be accompanied by a guide durinf their visit.

The site has been protected by a prefectoral biotope protection order since 10 february 1987 and most recently updated in June 2020. The signs on-site ask that you follow the rules that apply in this protected area.

/ Keep your dogs on a leash, don't camp, don't make fire, don't throw garbage on the trail, don't pick plants...
